From MegaWords’s website:

Megawords, for grades 4-12, teaches the reading, spelling, and contextual use of multisyllabic words through multisensory instruction and a systematic progression of skills. Within each book, words are presented in lists arranged by word structure and spelling pattern. Because Megawords is skill based, it can be used in a variety of settings and across all RTI tiers depending on student need and grade level.

  1. Missouri Homeschool Mom says:

One of my kids has ADD so workbook work is hard because he only gives a half-hearted attempt just to get the work done. With Megawords, the frustrating thing for me was that he would get the answers in the book right, but his spelling didn’t improve outside of the workbook. Now, I have to admit that we would work on Megawords while my baby slept. Megawords has the child practice reading lists of words and sounds over and over again. It’s possible that we didn’t practice the out loud part enough because I didn’t wnat my energetic son to wake the baby.
